Ten Foolproof Tips When Shopping on Ticketmaster

  1. Sign up or create a Ticketmaster account in advance. Before tickets go on sale, make sure you have your password handy, or reset it in advance.
  2. Have up-to-date stored billing information within your Ticketmaster account. Take the time before the sale begins to prepare, instead of rushing later.
  3. Login to your Ticketmaster account before tickets go on sale and double-check your event sales time. Many times events may be listed in “local time” based on the venue location – keep that in mind when purchasing tickets for an event far away from home.
  4. With most high demand events, tickets can often sell out within minutes. Set a calendar reminder for your favorite artists, teams, or shows. Being online exactly when tickets go on sale doesn’t guarantee a ticket, but it may help provide a better opportunity.
  5. Save time by searching for the Best Available ticket vs a price range or section level. When you search by Best Available, it will scan all sections/prices and provide you the best ticket options at that time, pending availability.
  6. Don’t look like a ticket bot! When completing your ticket purchase, stay within one browser window and a single device. Opening multiple windows or tabs to purchase tickets, will result in errors.
  7. We know you’re excited, but don’t refresh your browser every second on your computer. This is an action ticket bots often do, and for security purposes may result in you being blocked for a period of time.
  8. Sometimes unannounced or additional shows are added. We encourage you to check back after tickets go on sale for newly added shows - you never know what you might find.
  9. If no seats are currently available, check back periodically. Many times additional tickets or seats may be released after tickets initially go on sale.
  10. We have fan-to-fan resale tickets. As the event nears, fans who purchased tickets when they went on sale, may no longer be able to attend and list their tickets for sale on Ticketmaster. Continue to visit Ticketmaster, new fan-to-fan ticket inventory is added as the event date gets closer, all the way up to the day of the event.
